Spike TV's Scream Awards show aired last night, and as promised in the geek pleasing remake of the original Back to the Future teaser trailer from last week, it reunited two of the key players in the film series - Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd!
In honor of the 25th Anniversary of the release of the first Back to the Future film, Spike TV arranged for a reunion of sorts for Doc and Marty and did so in grand fashion! [readmore] As Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd took the stage after an incredible theatrical introduction, complete with a time traveling DeLorean. As the crowd panned around, many of the celebrities in the audience (which included what seemed to be most of the cast of LOST) were going nuts!
I won't give away the entire thing, but seeing Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox on stage to accept the award (?) gave me goosebumps. Although the event had been billed as a 'reunion', it felt more like a lifetime achievement segment during the Academy Awards since only two cast members were there.
