iPad purchase 400 and now it opens then shuts

Yesterday I was able to get into TWD app with no problem. Then I purchased 400. Now the app opens to display the opening screen then it hangs for a few seconds before shutting completely. I've deleted and reinstalled the app. WTF? It's not a cheap game to buy and I just spent another $5.00 for 400 only to be unable to even get in the app? I need a fix.

    I must add that, on occasion, when tapping on the icon, it prompts me to enter my AppleID password, almost as if it had not downloaded or cannot download info. No problem with internet connection or other apps which rely on an internet connection to function.

    I am having the exact same problem you describe. Finished the game some months ago and realized 400 days is available. Went to purchase in-game and now the app just opens and quickly closes. Sometimes asks for the password to the App Store as well, but nothing happens. I've deleted and re installed it several times with no luck. Same thing happens every time, app appears to open then quickly exits to the iPad desktop.

    I don't know if the purchase actually went through, but the game doesn't even work now either way.

    I upgraded to IOS 7 and now it's working fine. Takes a while to get iOS 7 but the game then works!

    Darn. I was afraid that might be the solution. Thanks for the info. I suppose I'll have to upgrade sooner or later.
