Playing demo before starting a game causes game to time out

I downloaded the demo and completed it. I then bought Episode 1 and purchases the season pass.
After this, I tried to play the first chapter.
When I click "A" to "start chapter" the screen was stuck on the chapter select page without being able to click any buttons. It briefly showed that the game was using a "save nil" file instead of the "save 1" that it should have been using.
Once I went to the settings page and specifically selected "save 1" the game started working as expected.

    Thank you for reporting this issue. If you wouldn't mind, could you please clarify the steps you took after completing the demo? Did you make your purchases from within the demo or did you directly search the Xbox Live Marketplace? Any information you can offer would be fantastic. And we do apologize for this issue.
