SOLUTION - Problem with running The Wolf Among Us game

Hi,

if You have problem with running game (like black screen on start or crash), You have to follow this steps.
Unplug Your XBOX 360 / PS3t / other controller (I have found out that Razer mouses are counted as controller, witch is strange), than follow those steps:

I found on the telltalegames forum this fix. It's a DLL version issue.
First, you have to download "dinput8.dll" -> can be found here : http://www.fichier-dll.fr/dinput8.dll,724
(for non french user you just have to clik on le big blue button "Télécharger", means download in french)
/!\ be careful I don't know if this DLL is localised so if that doesn't work try to find the DLL on an other website in your language.
Then put it on the game folder -> in my case "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Wolf Among Us"
This just works fine for me but some says that you have also to refresh your DirectX installation, run DXSETUP.exe here"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\The Walking Dead\DirectX".

Run game, than You can plug in YOur controller, everything should run fine.
