Playthrough Broken.

Hello, I created an account just to let you know of a very potentially major gamebreaking occurrence. I love the game and have already completed two playthroughs and purchased the season pass. I actually prefer it to Walking Dead so far which was one of the richest most enjoyable gaming experiences of my life. So here's my problem, I'm currently going through and choosing different options, trying to tease as many clues as possible out of the one episode we have so far and I got to the fight with Grendel... I decided to let him beat on me without reacting just to see how the fight went... At the point where he charges you across the bar and you have the chance to jab at his shoulder wound, I again did nothing to see what would happen. He slammed me into the wall at which point Game Over popped up suddenly and now when I reload my game I'm standing in the Trip Trap, I'm in half-wolf mode, Grendel is fully monstered out and so is Holly, but I can just wander around the bar freely, there's no cursor and no option to restart the fight or anything... Just thought I'd let you guys know in case you wanted to look into it.

Again, I love this game so much and I can't wait for the rest. Seriously, give me all the episodes now.

  • Something similar happens when you relaod a checkpoint or rewind. If you reload 'Choices', Bigby is standing outside Fabletown with no options.

I posted about this problem earlier. You're playing on the 360, right?

Some of the chapters can be reloaded okay with a few weird bugs but others can't be loaded at all. I remember even seeing "Nil Value" or something being displayed in place of the chapter name, indicating that the file had been corrupted.

I think the problem might be that the game drops you off at the right location but the progression flags are all messed up so you end up not being able to do what you need to in order to advance the story.

This is a pretty major bug, since it renders most of the rewind/continue system useless so I do hope that it gets fixed soon.

  • That's what I figured. Loads in the right place but the wheels are't set in motion, so to speak.
