Can't start a new game! help!

I just installed the game again on my computer and since I've already played the game once I decided to skip the training level. I select New Game and it asks me is I want to play the training level, I select no. Then the game asks me to select an investigators name and I type my name in and select done. then it asks me again if I want to play the training level and then it just goes like that again and again and again and the game never starts.

Does anyone have any idea what I should do?

never mind, I switched profiles and it worked fine
