Episode 3 unable to look around. Help!

I just got to episode 3 and I am trying to get the train working. Suddenly every time it goes first person (like the engine controls) I can't move the camera. This is extremely frustrating and any help would be much appreciated.

    Have you tried rewinding to a previous save point and then playing through that section again? If you are having trouble with the puzzle, you have to get the pencil from the camper to use with the train instructions. Hope that helps.
