Black screen issue on loading Ep 5

Hi all,

I'm experiencing an issue when trying to load on from Episode 4 to 5. On continuing the game in episode 5, I go to a black screen with the menu cursor still visible, and background music playing. The screen stays like this and nothing else happens.

For the sake of comparison I loaded a new game and started from Episode 5 with pre-fill decisions, but the same issue occurs.

I'm playing on PC with a Steam copy, Cloud Sync is disabled. I'd really like to finish the first season and 400 Days in time for the arrival of Season 2, but I need your help!

    Please rename the prefs.prop files in the folders below to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate them.
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead105
    C:\Users\Ponk\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead

    Then move the prefs.prop from
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\WalkingDead104
    to
    C:\Users\Ponk\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead
