I am a disgrace on humanity but I've gotten to the campfire bit in episode 1, season 2, i've picked up a log, I'm near the campfire clicking the circle thing and nothing is happening, Help please!

Got it. You have to point at the Hand or Eye symbol, not at the middlepoint.
hold the button down when lighting the lighter
