The Walking Dead Season 2 Crashing in the Forest Scene

So the game works smoothly initially. It connects to the servers, my old Walking Dead Season 1 save is found, I watch a rerun of what I did in Season 1, and then it gets to the first scene in the woods. As it zooms in on Clem and the title fades away, Omid calls out, Clem looks down, and then (always right then) the game crashes with the box "The Walking Dead.exe crashed". To my best knowledge my computer does have all the right specs, I verified the integrity of the game cache, and I ran Steam as an admin. Anything that I'm missing to get this game up and running?

  • I have the exact same problem. I downloaded the TWD support tool and ran it. This is the download link http://www.sendspace.com/file/fqmvy3

  • I fixed it by turning my graphics quality back up to high. Don't know if it will fix it for you or if you even changed the quality but hopefully it will help.
    Also great first episode :D

  • Ok. It did solve the problem, but only for people who has sufficient hardware to play on high resolution settings. In my case, I need to play it on low resolution or the game will lag. That's why I put it on low quality resolution on the first place.

Does someone can help me with it?

I bought the game and I'm still waiting to play it. There was no problem with The Wolf Among Us, it plays smoothly on low settings. Please, I'm very anxious to play it, and I can't buy another computer in the moment, just for playing it.
