Vertical stripes through the start screen, picture not working in game

I'm on a mac, 10.6.8. When I first load the game, the start screen has these vertical stripes going through it, making about half of the picture unseeable. In addition, when I go to play the game, sometimes the picture is fine, sometimes the picture has this line of colors across the bottom, and sometimes it looks like the black and white static on a tv not getting a signal. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know how to fix it? I've gone through the graphics options and turned the quality on low and the anti-aliasing off, but neither have worked at all. All help is greatly appreciated!

Can you please provide me with a DxDiag?

For Mac: Select the Apple logo on the top toolbar of you desktop, then select 'About this Mac', and then 'More info...'. Now Select 'File' on the top toolbar of your desktop, then find 'Save As'. Choose a filename to easily find the document after saving, and most importantly change the file format to an easy to read document type (RTF is recommended). After you save the file, find and open it. Now press Cmd+A to select all text, and Cmd+C to copy and Cmd+V to paste the 'System Information' and 'Display Devices' sections of this file into a reply to this thread and I will attempt to assist you.

Done and done. For what it's worth, I never had this problem with season one. Please let me know if you need more than this, I only copied some because the whole thing was several hundred thousand characters too long to post.

Here's a screen shot of the start screen. As you can see, the second time around the picture got worse.

According to your system information, your graphics card only has 256mb of dedicated memory. Unfortunately this is below the game's minimum system requirements (512 mb). I apologize for the inconvenience.

  • Thank you for the info. Is there any way I can boost my graphics card?

Unfortunately, the only way to increase your decidated memory is to purchase a new graphics card that meets the minimum system requirements. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.
