Season 2 New Zealand Release Date

Hi,

According to the official Playstation Blog, The Walking Dead S2 is not available in New Zealand. Is this a delay or is it not being released at all?

    That's really disappointing. Is there a reason for why the game isn't being released here? I know in the past that there were issues with releasing the game in Australia but that isn't the case anymore.

    My guess is that they've decided the cost of releasing it doesn't measure up to the estimated sales for each country. As much as that decision sucks for us, it makes sense from a business pov.

    What I think is more disappointing is not telling these countries prior to the launch. Instead we are all expecting the game to be released & it's not until we go to the store that we realise it's not there. Had we been told a week or two beforehand, people wouldn't be so cranky.

    Honestly it doesn't make sense as every other game that I have played has been released in Ireland and most other places, given its previous game of the year status I find it shocking

    I just chatted with an Xbox employee and she said that the Walking Dead will be surely out this year in Ireland and I'm sure the same for New Zealand. The reason for the delay as far as she knows is that they wanted to be sure it worked for US customers

    Honestly speechless. I think this is absolute bullshit. The delay with Season 1 was frustrating but the Australian classification excuse was plausible. This time though? I've been looking forward to this release for some time, why screw your NZ, Irish and Russian customers?

    So stupid.. Right now Walking Dead Season 1 is on sale at the 360 market place even tho I along with all people here paid money for the game still no scheduled released for New Zealand..
    I guess your making to much money from the PC version.....torrent
