"Can't Communicate with Telltale Servers"
I pre-ordered Season 2, and downloaded and installed Season 2 of The Walking Dead yesterday night (directly from Telltale), when I received my e-mail confirming it was available for download.
However, whenever I try to run Season2, the program starts, reaches the "Click to Continue" screen, and then says "Can't Communicate with Telltale Servers" rather than presenting me with the opportunity to enter my login information like with Season1.
I tried running the support tool provided on this forum, but the batch file, after unzipped on my desktop (with 7-Zip, which I already had installed before the download) and opened, says "Press any Key to Continue", and then INSTANTLY CLOSES, without doing ANYTHING more, when I press any key on my keyboard. I am skilled enough with computers that I know I am not doing anything obviously wrong, so there is clearly a problem with the compatibility of the support tool with my OS and specific system or security software...
Here is a link to a dxdiag information file on my system:

It appears that what is interfering with my ability to run Season 2 is the game's DRM. This is unfortunate; as I purchased, downloaded, and installed the game quite legitimately- and wholly unacceptable in the long run.
I would appreciate help with this issue until it is resolved. It is the only fair thing to do to provide me a refund or a Steam key if this issue cannot be resolved in the long run- although I will work with support as patiently and cheerfully as possible to ensure this is resolved first.
Please communicate with me further about this issue at the e-mail address registered with this account (I won't post it here so it can't be harvested by spammers) so that we can work this issue out privately and quickly.
Regards,
Northstar

Same issue -- experienced repeatedly, even at 3:30 a.m. PST.
I'm just not going to bother anymore.

Same issue here. Manually allowed the program through the firewall and ran as administrator, no luck.
And I didn't even get the email saying it's released...
Same problem. Makes me sad
Why not simply send Steam activation keys to everyone who pre-purchased the game on Telltale's site? No loss of money -- these folks already bought the game -- and it might go far to smooth feathers ruffled by this crash landing of a product launch.
