Importing 400 days from another computer?
I am excited to play Season 2 and am getting my save files aligned for when I buy the game. I played 400 Days on a different computer than the one I played Season 1 on. I am planning on playing Season 2 on the same computer I played Season 1 on. Is there a way I can import the save from 400 Days onto that computer and have it coexist with the saves from Season 1?
Additionally, I checked my Season 1 save files and the most recent save I have is from Episode 3, even though I have definitely played episodes 4 and 5. I can probably play through all the other episodes again but I was wondering if there was an easy way to check if these files are recoverable.
Thanks for your help, I'm sure you guys are inundated with support questions right now so I appreciate you taking the time to help each of us.

There's no way of merging save slots from different sets of save files in TWD S1. You can create a new windows user account though and copy one set of save files to its savegame folder.
You should be able to import from different sets of TWD S1 save files into TWD S2 though with a little trick. You just need the prefs.prop and .save files you want to import from in the TWD S1 savegame folder. Then select a new save slot in TWD S2 and start a game. It should let you import the savegames you currently have in the S1 folder for that save slot.
That way you shouldn't need to play TWD S2 on two windows accounts.
As for the season 1 savefile issues, please follow the instructions to run the TWD Support Tool and post the download link to the resulting "TWD_support_data_pc.zip" or "TWD_support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.
Do that on the computer you played season 1 on.
Here's the download link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3zv94bjxu3o0ocx/TWD_support_data_pc.zip Let me know if you need it uploaded somewhere else. Thanks for the help on the first issue.
Please rename the prefs.prop in
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\The Walking Dead\Pack\default
to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate it.
Great, that worked! It even synced over the 400 days save from my other computer, so it looks like I don't even have to do anything special. All my choices are there and the DLC save is part of that slot as well. Thanks so much!
