Please help Save file issue

My game kept on freezing at title so i decided to re install, but before i hit ok it did ask me if i wanted to save all of my game info i said yes. Game is working fine now after reinstall but now all of sudden when i go to load game no old save files. I've checked game folder my save files are there what should I do? x.x i was on chp. 4 seriously dont feel like starting all over again. /sigh

    Please follow the instructions to run the TWD Support Tool and post the download link to the resulting "TWD_support_data_pc.zip" or "TWD_support_data_mac.zip" to your next reply in this thread.

    If you're on windows, you can follow these instructions or use a tool like 7-Zip to unzip the support tool.

    If that's not the problem, please be more specific.

    I've downloaded the TWD support tool and there doesn't seem to be anything to extract. I have a 7za.exe that i can extract but that doesn't do anything when i click it. Opens for like 1 second then closes again

    You need to read and follow the instructions to run the TWD Support Tool. You have to run "TWD_create_support_data.bat", not the 7za.exe.

    The prefs.prop in the savegame folder is too small to be valid for a progressed playthrough. It was probably corrupted and replaced at some point.

    If you have a backup of the savegame folder, please restore it.

    Otherwise there is a slim Chance you can restore your progress:

    Please try the "restore previous version" feature (right click, "properties", "restore previous version") on the prefs.prop in the savegame folder ( %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Telltale Games\The Walking Dead ). If there are multiple versions try restoring each of them starting with the latest. If the prefs.prop is much bigger than 10KB chances are best it's the correct one.
