Cant win post-bandage fight

This is a bit strange but I cant win the fight after Clem tries to pick up the bandages in Ep 1 S2. I play on a PC and the Q button works fine, but after trying the rake/brick, left click then Q - the Q just does not respond. Its not my reflexes I got my console playing buddy to mash the key for me. Am I missing something or is this a problem with other people in pc version?

Love the series by the way :)

    OK, apparently there is such a thing as clicking Q too fast, I slowed it down and success. Seems a strange game mechanic but hey I finished the ep :)
