Season 1 Freezing Up (PC)

I had to do a recovery on my pc to get windows 8 back from windows 8.1 so I also had to install The Walking Dead again, starting with season 1. When I tried opening it, the game became "not responding" right when it was "connecting". I can't get past that screen and I'm not sure why since I was previously able to play with no problem.

    Never mind, it ended up working when I started the game afresh after deleting all the old stuff that stayed after I did the refresh recovery back to windows 8 (which was okay since I wanted to play from the beginning before starting season two). Thanks anyways!
