Corrupted saved games
Hi,
I have the common issue with saved games. I didn't know about all these problems and started the game when my Internet connection was down at the ending of chapter 2. Now I have plenty of issues, sometimes I can't rewind chapter 2, choices are wrong, If I start the game and go back to the main menu the saved games change to a different version...
I already tried to move from TWD folder those .pref files to My Documents and viceversa but nothing it's working.

I already played chatper 1 and 2 on my friend's house on PS3 several months ago, now I played again in my computer after I bought the game... And now I'm not really in the mood of starting over again for the third time and I don't have too much free time.

Please rename the prefs.prop files in the folders below to prefs.prop.bak to deactivate them

I just did that, but I have no stats for chapter 1 (but I have rewind option). Chapter 2 stats choices are right. Is that normal?
You should see stats for every episode, otherwise they were not saved correctly. You can try rewinding to the end of episode 1 and playing it again. Then let the credits run to the end, to make sure the stats are saved.
I did as you say. Last 3 chapters of Episode 1 were deleted and I had to replay them until the end. Now I lost all my progress for Episode 2 with all stats deleted and no rewind option...
The Idea of rewinding was to get your episode 1 stats fixed, so you can play the later episodes with the correct choices. Rewinding always removes the progress of later episodes. I assumed you knew that, since you talked about rewinding earlier.
Does at least episode 1 have the correct stats now so you can continue with episode 2?

You should fix this bug with a patch or at least write a sticky on Steam forums, because I'm not supposed to know that if I play a single player game with my Internet connection down I am going to lose a lot of my progress... In this case an entire episode that I guess is at least like 2 hours of gameplay knowing what to do, and I already lost like 6 hours of my time trying to figure out what was the problem and fixing it by myself, looking for help on Steam forums, insisting to Steam for a refund and at last getting here.
I find this very misleading, nobody warned me about those big bugs before buying a software that is supposed to be finished and pulished and not having these kind of issues that made my experience way more frustrating than enjoyable. I'm not in the mood of playing the entire Episode 2 again for the third time and last chapters for the 4th time.
I'd like a refund. It's just 6 bucks but this product has no use to me now and I feel scammed. I'd like to use that money on other products that deserve it and I won't buy any other game from Telltale Games now or in the future after this experience.
