Season 1 Episode 4 Keeps Crashing

I have been unable to get past episode 4. It has been crashing nonstop for me throughout the whole thing. I had a major issue with stuttering during the cut scenes so I've had to turn on affinity for all of my processors. That fixed that issues but the crashing in episode 4 is horrible. I've run the support tool like is usually asked for.

I normally run an xbox wireless controller but I also tried mouse and keyboard with no success. Any help would be great.

    Please verify the game cache files.

    If that doesn't fix it, please check the properties of the Steam.exe, and the games .exe files, and disable any compatibility mode settings.
    Sometimes compatibility mode is checked, but is grayed out. Then you have to click on "Change settings for all users" at the bottom to disable the checkbox.
    Afterwards try if the game works.

    If the method mentioned above didn't work, you can try disabling it in the registry. Then restart the computer and try running the game again.
