Season 2: Choppy scrolling on iPad Air
Love the game, already bought and finished S2 Ep1 (loved it, what a great episode!). Now the long wait for Ep2....
I noticed the graphics in Season 2 on iOS are much improved and more moody... brilliant! But I also noticed that scrolling seems very choppy sometimes. What's that? I've got an iPad Air, which is the most powerful iOS device out there, so it can't be lack of CPU/GPU power. Just replayed S1 and that scrolls just fine. The game plays well, but the choppy scrolling sometimes looks really horrible. The closing credits for example, can't imagine any QA dep would pass that.
The text does not smooth scroll, it jumps (erratically) over the screen.
Am I the only one to have this? iPad Air, 128GB + cell.

Please make sure that when you are running the game, all other applications running in the background are closed. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This should clear the device's cache.
Tried closing all other apps first; no differerence. Turned off iPad for 5 mins, turned on and booted; started WD S2; no difference.
Again, it's not a big problem, the game plays okay. But I am just suprised that in a game that pays so much attention to detail, scrolling is so sloppy on a tablet as powerful as an Air.
Any minor hitching or lagging during loading and autosaves may be seen in-game, but any real bad choppiness and hitching is unusual. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thanks for posting this. I've also experienced the choppiness issue as well, especially during scenes when walking through the forest. It just seems that it's too much for the iPad Air to handle. I'm wondering if this happens on game consoles like the PS3?
Any choppiness during gameplay is unusual. Can you please clarify if all of your apps running in the background are closed as well? If not, please follow the steps I've stated in my comment above, and try running the app again.
