Fables Book Crash

Platform: iPad Mini with Retina 128gb

Game runs fine except when I go to the fables book for a new entry. I get a screen with a triangle in the middle and nothing else. Tapping everywhere does nothing and have to force quit game and lose progress in order to keep playing.
