Disappearing save files

I went to play my PS3 copy of The Wolf Among Us the other day. I had three different saves already so I went to change to slot four for a new game. The problem was that I could have chosen slot one, two or three and it wouldn't have made a difference because they too were completely empty. I restarted the game and checked for game data but no luck. I still have the Trophies I earned on my first playthrough. This must be an issue of the game.
Anybody else have this problem, on any platform?

    I posted something similar yesterday, no one responded yet. But in my case, if I had restarted the episode with a current save file with episode 1 already completed and had completed it again, the choices I made would not appear in the summary at the end of the episode. (Xbox version) If you get what I'm saying. Hopefully for us it won't be that big of a deal once episode 2 comes out.

    Yeah, I wasn't too upset over it because I had a good memory of my first-time choices but I'm worried it could happen again in a few episodes' time. Losing a save for the first episode isn't the worst thing that could have happened but losing a save representative of three or four episodes is another thing entirely.

    My original pair of save files from the launch of The Wolf Among Us also vanished after downloading and installing Episode 2 from the PlayStation Store. All of my "Book of Fables" entries from Episode 1 have also been wiped, although, I do still have my trophies.
