I Am Having Trouble

My walking dead season 2 game is reallly messed up, like, It won't save the game even when it shows that it is autosaving, it doesn't use the correct choices from my season 1 file, and it doesn't even roll the credits when i beat the episode. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, could it be that i purchased it on my friends xbox and then i downloaded it on mine? (I wasn't home so i just bought it on his but i was still signed in to my account)

    I apologize for the inconvenience. You may need to transfer the license to your console. To do this please follow the steps in this thread on how to transfer licenses to a new console:

    Please make sure to read the steps under the 'License Transfers - New Consoles' section.

    Please also make sure that you are playing the full game, and you are not playing the game in demo/trial mode. You can do this by going to the Xbox Marketplace and going to the game's page and make sure that you are downloading the full game and not the demo/trial version.
