"Xbox members, do you own a "The Wolf Among Us" Season Pass but are being asked to pay for "Episode 2: Smoke & Mirrors?" Our team is engaged and working to have a fix out for you tomorrow."
MS is working on the issue, which is usually the extent of what they can say since they legally can't make any promises, just estimates. Just wish people here would stop blaming Telltale. This issue has nothing to do with them.
John: at 11:02:34 Currently we are aware that the problem seems to be connected to authentication of Season Pass accounts. Our Tier 3 Advocacy Team has determined the issue does not originate with Telltale or their product. We are engaged on a solution and hopefully will have this matter fixed soon.
There's also this for those who wish to stay informed without resorting to people spreading more resentment and misinformation:
Except (for more times than I can count at this juncture...) this has nothing to do with Telltale. This issue doesn't stem from anything on their end. This is an issue with Microsoft not being able to verify Season Pass holders. If you take the time to contact MS and not rely solely on resentment posts or the Telltale forum you can have the issue explained a bit more clearly. Regardless, you're dancing alone cause Telltale isn't on the floor with you this time.
After recently finishing this dance with telltale it looks like its time to start all over again. First it's waiting god knows how long for se… moreason 2 of The Walking Dead to be available in my country (NZ) I now have to wait for this new issue on an entirely different game. Even worse this time I'm actually slightly out of pocket. Prepare for more weeks of half answers and just plain being ignored.
I'm far from one of those entitled sods that demands you make games for me, no I just believe that if you make a game it should be distributed cleanly and fairly. You guys need to really cull you publishing department and fill it with staff who can keep at the same level as your excellent game developers.
On the Off-Chance some of you may have missed it, been living in a cave, or hoping no one would notice so you could keep disseminating antagonism towards Telltale...
I had purchased the Wolf Among Us Season Pass anddddd came across the dreaded, "Purchase" option. Sooo I come here, see it's not just my issue and I figured it's MS because as of yesterday, they had "attempted", and I use that term loosely, to release episode two to DL and wayyy they fucked up big time. SO. I ask, How long will it take to get my redemption code, which I think is rather retarded? Oh and this isn't the first time MS has screwed up. If anyone played State Of Decay, they'll remember the HUGE screw up MS was guilty of with an update to that title. This company makes BILLIONS and they still manage to fuck up this royally and often? Epic FAIL.
Apparently how MS is fixing this is sending out codes for folks to go ahead and download the episode. I just got mine and am downloading so we'll see if it works. It's not a perfect solution, but it is one. But man did this get screwed up!! Here's hoping things go better in 12 years when episode 3 comes out!
Well I just got my code too, and stupidly bought episode 2 already....so PM me if you want it. I don't anticipate any refund, I guess it's only fair since I got episode 1 for free.
(Just please don't jump down my throat if I don't respond in 0.00002 seconds please?)

Do you have to sign up to get a code or are they sending one to every one who got a season pass?
