But in the preview after episode 2 when Toad asks "Bigby is that you?" Bigby turns around and looks nothing like Crane. The head shape is different and this head has fur like a wolf would have. This leads me to believe that some things in the plot because the preview for episode 2 had the same were-wolf that had similar features to Crane. So maybe they recently changed the look of this version of Bigby.
That is obviously Bigby. Toad asks "Is that you?" because he's shocked to see Bigby in his werewolf form. Not because he thinks it's someone else.
We don't even know for sure Crane murdered Lilly. All there was, was a picture of Crane above Lilly, and it doesn't look like a selfie. So who took the pic? Yes he is probably related to the murders, unless someone used Glamour to look like Crane. In the comic Crane is obsessed with Snow and is perverted, but doesn't seem like a killer.
Plus, TellTale has changed the character model of wolf form Bigby.
So while you may be right he is related to the murders, it's definitely not 100% yet. And I don't think TellTale is stupid enough to tell you who the murderer is in episode 2 of 5.
