Telltale you really let me down.

edited February 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

I just got off the phone with Microsoft. I asked about the fact that my season pass wasn't working. He laughed, and said 'I'm sorry man you are the 20th call I've had today like this.' He was very genuine and a consumer as well, he reassured me the problem is being looked into but they were certain it wasn't on Microsoft's end, stating they have checked AND that nothing is different on their end in terms of the season passes whether it's TWAU or TWD; it's just content.

Relieved that the big dog was looking into it, I suddenly was struck with frustration and disappointment at Telltale. That's a hard sentence to write. I've played Sam&Max, the Dead, and Wolf. TWAU is my favorite thus far. I've loved what they have done. I was frustrated with the rest of TWAU fans, and I read the forums daily. I understood the cries of resentment that flooded the board. But I remained hopeful, and then this...

@Telltale, why? Why do you take extra time to release a game (I read the reddit post, I get it) and then not make sure all your ducks are in a row when it comes time to release it? That's a pretty big bug to have going around. And then, to have no word from you or the Mods is completely beyond understanding. Please just write, "Guys, we know. We're working on it right now." That's all we need.

I'm making no money in my current job. Hire me and I can oversee the what if's like this, and handle communications for the company, because it seems not to be happening.

tl,dr this is really unprofessional telltale. you should have been ready. this comes off as lazy, and a lazy company won't hold on to customers like me. at this point we should be compensated somehow.

Well Telltale is working on that aswell.Try to be patience abit more i don't know for sure but i really think they are doing their best to fix this.So you and everyone else who got this problem would enjoy the game. And as u may know Telltale have an history with bugs on release but they usually fix them a day or few hours after. If you really want Mods/Devs answer try contacting one of them at twitter

    https://twitter.com/jobjstauffer Job J Stauffer Twitter

    https://twitter.com/lauraperusco Laura Perusco Twitter

Both are Devs and as u see they are answering community questions.I suggest to try asking them or wait for the problem to be fixed.

  • Yeah I agree with the fact that they know, and that they are trying to fix it, and release day bugs have been an issue. But I think you'd be hard-pressed to argue with their extra time taken on this that they couldn't have taken a closer look at stuff. It would just be common sense. I feel like this is a moment where Telltale has really dropped the ball is all.
