could be anything really. The deer must be formed in order to open the capsule, so it is either something random or something that is held high in regard to the maker of the capsule. Can't think off the top of my head of any Fables involving deers, and I don't think it will be a major part in the coming episodes

They may be of some concern or they may not. The deer likely means something and there are fables concerning deer. Google turns up a number of sites with deer fables although most concern Aesop. That may not be the right path, but it's something. Should be interesting to see where Telltale goes with it ... or if it will just be another thread that gets forgotten.

That info you posted sounds legit. There are probably tons of litlte easter eggs regarding obscure fairy tails all over this game.
