Who is on the "Mysterious Yellow Shirt" (attached pictures of the shirt)

edited October 2009 in Strong Bad Hints
I played some demos of Sam and Max, and I am not familar with its lore, but I can safely say that the Yellow Shirt easter egg that you get by jumping off walking on the opposite side of the portable interdemisonal wardorbe thingy does not show a picture of either Sam or Max. It looks like a pretty disturbing cross between a bunny and a dog, but I can't tell what exactly...If it is an easter egg, it seems like a rather strange one for Telltale to add, since I never seen this before.

To prove it, I uploaded two pictures of the very shirt. I uploaded it because I want to know...who is that person that is on the shirt?

Looks like a Wallace and Gromit character.

Maybe a pretty disturbing cross between Sam and Max?
  • lol, it's a Wallace and Gromit character. I think...

    That's NOT a W&G character, I assure you.

It looks like Aardman Productions style, is all I'm sayin'. Could certainly be a NEW Wallace and Gromit character. And is definitely not a Sam and Max character.

when you drag the shirt to put in on it looks a lot like the max crossbone shirt. no idea what it's meant to be when you're wearing it though...

Perhaps it's a hint of characters to come from W&G's GA?

Or even a Creature Comforts animal? Aardman did that as well. Or the Were-rabbit.

Yeah, I think its some sort of concept art from the W&G game... or it could just be a random sketch (of no importance, or relevance) thrown in there just to get us talking :D

Hey, nothing gets more attention than a mystery! XD

Perhaps it's a sly peek at the totally loaded up mole people.
By the way, when I reset the shirts the yellow one (which I was wearing) disappeared. Was it supposed to do that?

Same happened when I swapped shirts. I thought the yellow one would stick around.

IIRC you grab it from a lamp around the left of the wardorbe, where the cheat is.

Looks like a squirrel to me.

Yeah the reset shirt icon removes the shirt, and it does not get a saved place on the wardrobe wall like all the other items (it would not be "secret" if it was easy to get/keep).

To get it the shirt again... Jump to the underside, then try to walk to the door... You should hear a noise, and get the shirt again (i think you can get it an infinite number of times).

Remember, even though the camera changes to a side scrolling mode down there, you are still on a 3D walking surface that has depth. Only the catch is that you can't see how far back it goes... My method is to try to walk out the door (when on the bottom), i usually get the shirt when i reach the opening.
  • but what is on it?

Here: take a look at it, what is it?

    Here's a less-obscured snapshot.
  • I swear, it HAS to be Wallace and Gromit.

I think it's the giant bunny from the latest W&G movie

No, I saw that movie, and it's not. I know I've seen it before though...just can't put my finger on it....

i know, it's really bugging me. i swear it's familiar, but i've no idea who it is >.<
it does look like something i'd expect to see on W&G, but i don't think that's it.

It sort of reminds me of one of the bunnies from Curse of the Wererabbit, but I really don't think that's it.

I finally got around to saving a better resolution image. The following is a cropped image of the character from a screen-shot.

That thing looks a lot different up close.not a rabbit, or a dog, I'm sure of that.

it might be the bad guy from the W and G game.

    That's NOT a W&G character, I assure you.

What about the RoboDog (A Close Shave)? Looks like a restyle of him.

EDIT: Looking at the close up, it definitely looks like an Aardman character. However, it's not much of a dog.
