How do I unlock Trogdor?

edited August 2008 in Strong Bad Hints
I've beaten the game, found everything but the first trophy, and done everything I think of. Although I haven't reached level 15 on Snake Boxer 5, and I haven't gotten a perfect score on TGS.

    Trogdor? Your kidding, right?

The arcade game? In the basement? That Strong Sad needs to fix? Based on the game on the website? Or is it not possible to play it...

    Strong sad never fixes it.

No, it's not unlockable. Actually, I got right away that it was a joke explanation to cover up that the game wasn't playable.

If people really want to play the game, play it on Homestar Runner.com. I don't get why i'd need to unlock and play a game that i've already played before. I'd rather that SBCG4AP stick with new things like Snake Boxer.

The secret to playing the game is here

It seems to be there for consistency's sake. We know that the Brothers Strong have the arcade game there in the basement, but there's no reason for Telltale to waste space putting the game in there when it's already on the site. Plus, now there can be ever greater jokes about Strong Sad not fixing it.

And this is where the arcade machine and its game was first seen.

ehm, I'm pretty sure Trogdor was introduced with this clip http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail58.html with the game. The arcade machine on the other hand...

Well, now we are being a bit nitpicky, but I still remember when I saw that cartoon (Arcade Game) as it first appeared on the site and thought to myself "man, that's one game I'd like to play!". I almost fell of the chair when The Paper came down at the end with a link to the new game. :)

Trust me, the TROGDOR! game was introduced in Arcade Game, not sbemail dragon.
