Black Screen of Death
I purchased and downloaded Season 2 via Steam a few days ago. Every time I try to launch it, I immediately get a black screen w/ no sound. No error message. Can't quit or Ctrl+Alt+Del. Alt+Enter does nothing. Have to shut down and restart via the power button. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I've verified the cache files, updated windows, drivers, etc. I played Season 1 with no problems just days ago. Not sure why Season 2 won't work. Will need to resolve soon or get my money back. Thanks!

Running Windows 7 64 bit.
My graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 5700 (4071 MB). Seems like is should be OK. Don't understand why Season 1 ran just fine. Did something change for Season 2?
I apologize for the inconvenience. Below are a few possible solutions:
1) Ensure you have the latest drivers
2) Restart your system
3) Unplug your gamepad (and all other USB devices other than keyboard/mouse) and plug in headphones to the audio out jack.
4) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)
5) Run the game as admin
6) Run the game in compatibility mode (We recommend Windows 98/ME)
7) Reinstall the game
8) Make sure that the Steam application is not set to a compatibility mode (right click on steam and click properties, then check compatibility, and make sure that it is not checked to play in a different OS)
