Save file wiped after downloading Ep 2
I recently downloaded Walking Dead episode 2. After downloading it, I opened the app and saw that my previous save files (including the imported save file of season 1) had vanished. This meant that I had to play the game again with randomized choices, something that seriously pissed me off.
I've played season 1 again in order to get the perfect save file, and then deleted it after importing the save file to season 2 to get some free space on my iPad. Now, the whole data's gone, and I'm NOT playing season 1 again just to get those save files back.
This is absolutely ridiculous. To play season 2 I have to use a bunch of randomized decisions that will probably not be what I'm expecting. Is it too much to ask for a perfect gaming experience? Disappointing.
Speaking of the iPad, I'm also experiencing choppy gameplay like the others on iPad air. And before you ask, yes, I deleted all background apps before running, and the gameplay was still choppy.
P.S. - Can you please give us some kind of a save file generator? I am NOT going to play the same game thrice.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Can you please clarify which iPad model you are using, and how many gigabytes of space you have left on your device? The hitching and choppy gameplay may be due to your device's memory being full. Can you also please clarify what iOS version you are on? iOS6 or iOS7? Unfortunately at this time, I do not believe there are plans to add a save file generator to the game, I apologize for any difficulties this may cause.
I'm on ios7, using iPad air, with 1.5 gb memory left.
The choppy gameplay is not really that big of a deal, I can work through it. My main problem is with the saves. Is there no way to retrieve the save files?
Unfortunately if you have lost your game save files in Season 2, you would have to re-import them from Season 1. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you choose to re-download Season 1, please note that after you complete episodes 2-5, you can delete those episodes to make space on your iOS device, and you would only need the base application (Episode 1) installed on your device to keep hold of your saves. (Season 1 saves are stored in the base application only). Again, my apologies for any difficulties caused by this.
Oh well, I'll probably just start directly from season 2 -.- , thanks for the base application knowledge. Does this apply to The Wolf Among Us as well? Assuming there is a sequel, that is.
Yes, the first episode is always the base application where everything is stored, and the later episodes are counted as Downloadable Content for the first game.
