Hows do I start a new game without erasin' the other one?

The last time I started a new game after winning the first one, It got my first one DELETED! Hows do I avoid this?

    To keep an Extended Play game saved forever, load it up, and then once you're playing it, go to Save/Load and save it in any slot other than the first slot. It will stay there unless you deliberately save over that slot at some point in the future.
