Unable to find a save - Season 2

I just downloaded the Season 2 episode 2 (i haven't played the ep1 at all) on PS3. After the "IMPORT SEASON 1 SAVE" screen I get the following error:

UNABLE TO FIND A SAVE The game was unable to find a Season 1 save file on this system with completed episodes. To play Season 2, Season 1 choices will be randomly generated for you to begin your story.

I have all Season 1 episodes plus 400 Days, (EU version). After getting the error I checked and the saved file is shown properly in Season 1 (stats are shown for every episode)

I apologize for the inconvenience. We released a patch that should resolve this issue. Please launch the game again and make sure you are connected to the PlayStation Network. When prompted, download the patch. With the patch installed the saves will carry over to Season 2. However, saves will not work cross-region. So, if you played the US version of Season 1, the saves will not carry over to the EU version of Season 2.

I had started walking dead season 2 episode 2, I wanted to do the scene on the bridge (again) but then my PS3 froze. I couldn't do anything so I turned of my PS3. Then I started it up again. I started the game again. I wanted to go to episode 2, but when I wanted to change something I must make a save file and when I click oké then I can't do anything more. Exept quite game.
No buttens work anymore. After a hour I though that I must turn off the PS3 and wait and it will later be oké. But now I can only click some options in the menu and then... Loading... Loading... Updating content, nothing is happening and switch between episodes goes wrong and I must quit again... And options can't help you because it doesn't... Have... The... Option... To help you... Go back to menu and you get still options but under options you will get options again with all the same options... So I cant leave the options!
    Quite game!
    Help me please!

I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. Please note that we are currently looking into the issue, and hope to have a fix released in the near future. As of now, there is a workaround that has been stated here to allow players to use their saves and play Episode 2. If you are still experiencing the issue:

    1. Please delete Season Two and any game data/save data that is associated with it from the Game Data Utility menu, and the Save Data Utility menu on the Playstation's XMB.
    2. Download and install Season Two Episode 1, as well as the Unlock Key again from the Playstation Store, and start the game.
    3. Then choose to import your saves from Season One.
    4. After importing your saves into Season Two, you will be able to play through Episode 1.
    5. Then after completing Episode 1, you will be able to download and install Episode 2, and continue your save from there.

Please note that we are currently looking further into the issue, and hope to have it resolved in the near future. I apologize for any difficulties this may cause you, while we are still looking into the issue.
