A few bugs with Season Two
Hi. I've had a number of technical issues with The Walking Dead - Season Two over the last few days. I'm sorry if this post is a bit long, but I thought it would be better to be thorough.
To begin, I'll just clarify that I have the EU PS3 versions of both Season One (+400 Days) and Season Two. All available episodes are installed, both games are fully patched, and the save files of both games are still on the system.
Issue 1 - Cutscene issue in S2E1. Issue 2 below is far more important, but I'm mentioning this first only because I replayed Episode 1 a day before Episode 2 was released in Europe, and a bug has been introduced since the last time I played it. Specifically, two scenes from S1E2 in the "Previously on..." segment.
Originally, the first scene had Lee throwing a pitchfork past Danny St. John's shoulder, saying "This is not how the world works now." and the following scene had Clem asking "Lee... Are those bad people dead?" On replaying it, both scenes had no dialogue, and almost no action. In one word... awkward. Lee stands still, keeping hold of the pitchfork, Danny only moves to seemingly nod once, then Clem and Lee look at each other, then at the ground, and nobody says anything. I tried restarting it, but it happened again the same way.
I can't tell you if the issue is still there right now because of a bigger issue...
Issue 2 - Importing Season One save files. Installing Episode 2 has nullified a previous patch which allowed Season One save files to be imported into Season Two. I received the original patch that fixed this problem (I wouldn't play Episode 1 before that patch came out), but the problem is back, and there are no new patches to install. The Season Two game cannot locate Season One save files on the system, but the Season One game still has a completed save file ready to play.
Issue 3 - The game no longer recognises Season Passes. Before Episode 2 was installed, the "Episodes" menu in the game knew that I owned a Season Pass, and I used this menu to download Episode 2. I examined this menu after I played Episode 2, and instead of saying that I owned a Season Pass, it's giving me the option to buy one. After exiting the game, I checked the PlayStation Store. The Pass is still available to buy, but the Store knows that I already own one. I hope this won't become a problem when Episode 3 becomes available.
Issue 4 - The game is... confused. This is a very small one, but again, I'm trying to be thorough. The menu mentioned above can't see a Season Pass, but it does know that Episode 2 is installed. However, the "Save Files" menu doesn't. My current save file has a picture of the final chapter of Episode 2, but the caption below says "Episode Not Installed". It doesn't actually affect anything though, as I can still play it.
That's everything, I think. Again, sorry for the long post.
