I apologize for the inconvenience. After looking over your support tool information, it seems that your computer's processor does not meet the minimum system requirements to run the game successfully. Where we require a minimum of 2.0 GHz processing speed, your system is currently running at 1.4 GHz. I apologize for any difficulties this may cause. I recommend either play the game on a supported system if you have the option, or inquiring about a refund. I apologize I could not be of more assistance.

  • I had previously beaten the game, on the same computer.

Most recently, I had played and completed Episode 6 (first save file), Episode 1 (second save file), and Episode 7 (first save file).

    Does that mean anything, or...?

It may be an issue with your save game file directory. I may be able to assist you in getting your saves working again. Please read this Sticky on how to run our Support Tool, and follow the steps to run the tool, and reply to this email with the download link copied and pasted into this reply. You can find the Sticky here:

Apologies for my confusion, it seems as though your file directories are all set correctly, so it is not a save file issue. Below are a few possible solutions:

    1) Ensure you have the latest drivers

    2) Restart your system

    3) Unplug your gamepad (and all other USB devices other than keyboard/mouse)

    4) Verify your cache if you purchased through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335)

    5) Run the game as admin

    6) Run the game in compatibility mode (We recommend Windows 98/ME)

    7) Reinstall the game

    8) Make sure that the Steam application is not set to a compatibility mode (right click on steam and click properties, then check compatibility, and make sure that it is not checked to play in a different OS)

I already did; the link below my screenshot.

Unfortunately, none of those worked. However, I checked to see if starting a new game would still allow me to play Episode 2, and it did. Because this is the second time playing (in other words, not the save file I care about), and I don't mind restarting again (as I've only finished Episode 1 on my second save file), I'll just delete it and play again.

Thanks anyways though. If I still have trouble, I'll post another thread.
