    strong sad pretty much tells you the symptoms, just make him think he's showing them using your inventory.

    i.e., make the
    thermometer hot to give him a fever
    and make him
    dance around with the shakes
    .

    Look in your inventory. What creates heat? Try using that on the particular object that measures heat.
