Money Harvesting: Here's the Reason Why
Like many of you I'm sure, I've been noticing since Episode 1 we're constantly being given the choice between taking money, giving money etc. And I've been wondering why this keeps happening - I mean, there's no in-game economy, or obviously shops etc so here's what I've concluded...
In Episode 4 (or potentially 5) a big choice will come about with the Crooked Man where you can either pay off the debts of Ichabod or someone else or the latter will die. Or--well I can go on for ages with possibilities. But essentially, I believe any money taken will eventually play a huge part in how things turn out when Bigby finally meets the Crooked Man properly.

Nah, im going to keep my cash and buy more whiskey.
Telltale doesn't roll that way and they shouldn't.
It'd completely fuck up the whole idea of choosing your path, if you have to be an asshole to get the best ending. Telltale does a nice job of mixing things up so you'll eventually get somewhere.
In other words that can't be the only option.
Remember the Huff and Puff too.
I'm not sure why I took the money from the Tweedle office--just because I don't like them, I guess. It feels a little weird to do it, because I've been playing Bigby sort of like a Law & Order cop, but at the same time, screw 'em. Plus, my Bigby's probably just going to use it in the course of doing his job, anyway.
Hope not... I didn't take their money in their office, because I didn't want Flycatcher to get into trouble.
That would be kind of interesting to see. I wouldn't think they'd make you take "all the money" at each choice, but that would be cool of Telltale to have the money come into play like that nonetheless.
Also, looking at the thread title, I thought this was going to be a Spambot thread. :P
