Maps and Minons Deluxe! (spoilers)

OK, Im in the KOT's Castle and I'm trying to get the KOT To assault the castle to take it back over by using the board game to lead his army. Any Tips at all on how to do this? so far this is what I've figured out
The Homestarmy beats everyone except for Homsar Vs Strong Sad and The Cheat Vs Strong Mad which both result in a draw.
I also know that the KOT can hide from attack and view in the stink cloud that the poopsmith leaves behind.

The closest I got was to get the KOT right up by Strong Mad who then kicked the poopsmith back to the start and left no escape for the KOT.... Im in like round 25, this is frustrating!!

Well, If you know how to stall Strong Sad and Strong Mad and how to hide the KOT, then you know all you need to win the game.

But here are a few tips anyway:
Try to stall Strong Sad as soon as possible, use Coach Z to lure him to a tile adjacent to Homsar, then move Homsar in. Always have the King follow the Poopsmith; If the King doesn't end his turn in a cloud, Homestar will head directly for him. Use Coach Z to lure Homestar while you sen The Cheat towards Strong Mad and the Poopsmith and the King towards the castle.

My record is victory in 9 turns. It's enough for 100% Completion.

I got it in 9 turns also. Took a while, but it was worth it.

I believe in the official walkthrough on TellTaleGames website, there is a detailed way to win in 9 rounds.

I got 10 cause of stupid Strong Mad whacking my poopsmith. Ah well, 10 got me green

the ONE draw back is that your guys can't attack the homestarmy, but the homestarmy can attack you. THAT IS SO UNFAIR!!!!!! but hey, i got 9 aswell.

But you have some advantages over the Homestarmy that compensate: They can't see into you "fog of war", it's possible to essentially take some of their pieces out of play, and they have a very simplistic strategy. All they can do to you is force you to move back a square.

If anyone's still stuck, here's what I think is the optimal solution of winning in 8 rounds (I figured this out on my third try):
Round 1: The Cheat -> Nameless Lands, Poopsmith -> Poopslovakia, KoT -> Pompomerania, Homsar -> Dullsville
Round 2: Poopsmith -> Place, KoT -> Poopslovakia, [Strong Sad attacks the Cheat, forcing him to Scalding Lake]
Round 3: Homsar attacks Strong Sad, The Cheat -> Rotten Eggland, Poopsmith -> Embittered Crag, KoT -> Place, Coach Z -> Poopslovakia
Round 4: Poopsmith -> The Cave, KoT -> Embittered Crag, Coach Z -> Place, The Cheat -> Country, [Homestar attacks the Poopsmith, forcing him to Open Field]
Round 5: The Cheat -> The Stick, Poopsmith -> Homsar, KoT -> Open Field, Coach Z -> Embittered Crag, [Homestar attacks Coach Z, and is now one full step behind KoT], [Strong Mad attacks the Poopsmith, sending him all the way back to Strong Badia]
Rounds 6-8: The Cheat attacks Strong Mad, KoT now has a clear path to the Castle, through The Stick and then East Marzistar/Homezipan
Don't forget on round 8 to move the Cheat to Open Field before moving KoT to pick up the beret.
