Ba ba bonfire!! Spoilers :3

edited April 2014 in The Wolf Among Us

I'm curious to everyone's thinking around the whole burning the tree option, because I personally burnt the tree as I felt long term that's the correct thing to do. Shes breaking the law, you're a lawman, to me it seemed like that is the right decision. This was not the mainstream decision however, so tell me people what is your reasoning behind either burning or sparing the tree.

  • Actually, Bufkin does state that it's not technically illegal in Episode 2, and I decided to give her a job on the 13th floor making Glamours.

Brace yourselves for a Pewdiepie reference.

    Bonfire, checkpoint in disguise!!!!!

Yeah. Let the downvotes commence. I like living dangerously.

Anyway, as for the tree, i didn't burn it. I recruited the dudette. It didn't feel right for me, taking away the last thing she had. It would have ruined her life.

    Uh-huh. * # TheBigBadWolfCares*

But on alternative playthroughs, i burnt the tree. For teh lolz.

I didn't relies that was an option? How did you do that out of curiosity? Also now that you mention it I remember that exact conversation with Bufkin, however it is easier to track peoples glamour if its not done under the table.

  • I think you have to tell Snow she could be useful when she proposes to burn down the tree, after which you can hire her to work there.

  • Meh.

Your avatar makes Bigby's head look really small.

  • Except she wasn't breaking the law, and why couldn't you just confiscate the tree?

  • The tree looks amazing, when it's on fire :)
If seriously, there's no 100% right option there.

  • When I said she could be useful, she refused to play nice even for a second. So I burned the tree. I mean, I gave her an out and she didn't take it...

I couldn't bring myself to burn it, so I hired her instead. The line Bigby says when he hires her is fantastic, and having a witch angry at you is never a good thing.

  • Meh, that's just Snow being emotional. Aunty Greenleaf did make those Glamours.

That tree seemed REALLY important to her. She said it was all she had left and although she lied about everything else, I believed her about that so I hired her in return for sparing the tree. She could be useful and it's surely better to have a witch on your side than against you.

  • I was really tempted to burn the tree at first. However when she told me about the ring and Crane and i also realized that she could be really useful as a witch on the thirteenth floor I hired her :)
