Anyone else feel like this game is rushing you?
It seems like as soon as you discover the "right item" in an area, you're whisked off to the next one. For example, I only got to examine like 3 packages in Tweedle's office, since I chose to start on the leftmost rack. You need to reload and replay it if you want to find all the items and get the flycatcher conversation. IMO, would be more fun if you could stick around afterwards if you wanted to check out all the items.

You are against the clock though, so it makes sense.
I feel your pain though. I opened the desk drawer first and checked the book, then got moved on. It wasn't until my second playthrough I got to read those notes on Crane's desk, with all the little Fables easter eggs therein. I was also very nervous checking the packages, trying desperately to NOT get the right one until I'd got the others. By sheer fluke I managed it
I didn't feel like it was rushing me. I think I was just overcome with utter excitement the entire time and was too happy to notice any rushing in pace. I always think these games are a good length but maybe 2 and a half to 3 hours would be perfect for each episode.
Also, I know this isn't the thread topic but can someone quickly tell me what happens if you chose Dee and Dum's office first?

Yes, true. I was really annoyed with that - I find the right item, BAM - get out. In the office of Tweedle's, I only examined one or two things before getting the little box which ended everything. Atleast I got to hire Flycatcher again...
I really appreciate this.
Couldn't agree more.
Does the time limit even matter in this particular episode? Because I still got the 14 minutes late every attempted playthrough I've made so far.
