When will the romance start?
I was just beginning to think about this...
If you've read the fable comics or even just read the wiki, you know that Snow and Bigby are married (with children)... so with that being said, do you think there will be any romance in the game? If so, when? I don't want the game to turn into complete romance but if little things like what happened before Carley's accident in the walking dead, that'd be quite awesome. Thoughts?

I was actually thinking if Detective Kelsey Brannigan from the second episode would return and go after Bigby. Put out an optional romance for Bigby between Snow White and Kelsey Bannigan
Ooooo, love triangle :P
The Little Mermaid, Nerissa, seems attracted to Bigby...
I would so support that ship.
That was I was thinking. You have Snow White who is a Fable, and Kelsey Brannigan who is a human. Have we ever seen a Fable in a relationship with a human?
I would too

Sorry to break your word, but I think that the TellTale team won't put Branningan in evidence.Maybe they want only Snow as Bigby's girlfriend. Now the romance is going only between Snow And Bigby.
Im fine without any romance personally. I feel like there's so much important shit for every character to deal with, that a romance crammed in there would just feel forced and unnecessary. If the game was a 30 hour epic then sure but it's not. Also in the comics we don't see much development between Snow and Bigby until much later.
I agree. I think it'd have to be very well done for it to work.
Telltale slightly retconned this as in the comics Snow says Bigby never showed any interest in her before. So no, it won't start in the game, probably only get to a close-to-kissing awkward scene
Spoilers:
When Bigby was in exile, he actually had a relationship with a mundy through she didn't know that he was a Fable.
Yeah, my recollection from the first trade paperback collection of the comics was that Snow barely liked Bigby at all--or at least, they were both playing that game. Seems as though Telltale is giving you just enough to satisfy your romantic urges without actually doing a romance between these two. They've been doing a good job of not going too far with it, I think.
Who was it?
A full-blown romance is not necessary, but something would be nice. Maybe with that added in, episodes could be a proper length of 2 hours and not 1 to 1.5 hour.
Uh... In the comics...
I mean they may not love each other but you can't deny that they're married. A lot of married couples lose the extreme compassion after a while and it just turns into a really dull relationship
She appears in volume 8: Wolves. It was just a minor character, but she is very good-looking! Also, Prince Charming is also shown to be wooing mundy women too.
No.
In the first couple trades of the comics, Bigby and Snow share heated arguments, (even more so than ones in TWAU) with only a couple instances of awkward flirting. To stay in canon, their relationship should not escalate in the episodes left (romantically, at least).
Agree, I think a full-blown romance is not necessary. But I don't mind if Snow gives Bigby a kiss or a hug after all the trouble.
^^ Yeah what he said.
Maybe not romance exactly, but something to show that Snow actually cares for Bigby. He gets shot and she immediately goes to Holly and takes her time to step in just at the last second after Mary has already started to swing the ax. I don't know
Im just thinking why every game should have romance?
I think a lot of couples lose their love after a while. Every couple fights, it's only healthy.
Not really a retcon. Bigby has always wanted her.
I'm hoping in episode 4 they share a kiss. It doesn't have to be insanely overblown but their romance should start. I mean the bad condition Bigby is in might make the both of them more vulnerable.
It doesn't have to contradict canon shown in the Comics. Everything is high-strung, emotional, and on the balance. Whatever feelings they share now can die in a few months or even earlier. So I don't think a little romance would be bad at all. Even a hug would be fine.
In the early comics it's pretty clear that Bigby has a thing for Snow. In her case it's less obvious, but I think Snow cares deeply for Bigby too, even at that stage, though she might not realise it.
Bigby knows Snow has had bad experiences with relationships in the past, so he's waiting, being there for her, and playing the kind of long game that mortals could only dream of.
There must be no love interest in the story. To introduce amour is to clutter up a purely intellectual experience with irrelevant sentiment. The business in hand is to bring a criminal to the bar of justice, not to bring a lovelorn couple to the hymeneal altar.
it would be nice to bang nerissa though
Okay, well at the very, very end of the game in the last episode they should kiss then.
This is a prequel to the Fables series.
TWD 1,2 and TWAU.....Let's see... Telltale's got reputation of killing every possible relationship(romantic or not, fatherly or not).
So, I don't think they would give us something at least in TWAU S1.
Relative to cannon story line and where this game takes place, bigby and snows romance doesn't heat up for another 30 years. I can't see telltale delving into that. But if they plan to end their story after this season (which I'm guessing they are) I suppose its possible.
Just read the comics because I dont believe a relationship is TTG objective in this game.
Okay, seriously, i want at least a kiss on the cheek. Doesn't matter with whom, i only want someone to give Bigby a smooch.
If snow doesn't do it then I will.
HOLY SHIT.
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING.
Hey, if no dudette wants to smooch that ripped sexy wolf dude, who am i to turn down and indirect offer?
I remember somebody suggesting this on another thread a very long time ago, that the whole relationship issue could be resolved by doing some sort of time-jump at the end to their actual wedding, instead of there being a hint of a romance at the end. Might not fit into the mood and theme of TWAU, but it could satisfy everyone if it is done well
