Here are a few helpful hints if you are having trouble importing your Season 1 saves into Season 2:

How Do I Import My Save?
If you have the physical The Walking Dead: Season 1 saves on your Vita Game Card, you will need to use the save data import button on the LiveArea before attempting in-game. (Please see screenshots below on the process to import your Season 1 saves successfully)

Why Are My Incomplete Episode Saves Not Importing?
Only completed Season 1 saves will be imported into Season 2. If you have any completed episodes, those choices will import to Season 2, and random choices will be made for any episodes that are unfinished or have not been played. If you've completed all episodes in the series, all your choices will be imported into Season 2.

How Do I Import My Save On/From the Digital Version?
For Digital versions simply use the in-game import screen after hitting Play, and starting Episode 1.

Very helpful thank you. Will I be able to delete the digital version of "The Walking Dead Season 1" after I transfered the save data without losing progress in the second season?

Yes, as long as you have imported your Season 1 saves into Season 2, all of your choices and decisions from Season 1 will then be in your Season 2 game/game saves, and you can delete Season 1 if you like.
