"First Person Shooter" trouble.

First of all, I need to get a warrant from Brass, but I have no new locations and therefore, can't get it. Secondly, I have the .45, but can't find the fingerprint on it. I know it's 'near the lock' as every walkthrough I've looked at has told me, but I can't find it.

Help?

    I am having much the same problem--I have done everything the hint says to do to get new locations and it's not giving me them. I got the warrant by comparing the rifle print to Maya's but I can't go get it from Brass! It worked once but then my PS2 froze and when I restarted the case it didn't work. I want to move on!
