[iOS]Walking Dead Season 1 Episodes Download Error

I've got The Walking Dead Season 1 on my iPad. I've also got every episode individually, didin't buy the multi-pack.

So the problem is: I can't download the rest of the episodes 2-5.

I press "GET" and it shows either 0.00% or 0%. Around 10-20 seconds later it says:

"Connection lost while downloading data. Please ensure you have a working internet connection and re-attempt the download"

I've tried using my iPad's cellular data connection, different Wi-Fi connections. Everytime I get the same message. It doesn't matter which episode I try to download - all come to the same result.

I'm more than sure this isn't my network problem. I've tried re-installing the game multiple times. Didn't work.

Is this has something to do with my iPad or it's Telltalle's servers messing something up?

I've got Season 2 and it's 2nd episode downloaded very well.

Any suggestions, how can I sort this out either any response from Telltale? "Optional title")

We believe to have resolved the download issue for iOS users. Please restart your device, and restart the game application, and you should now be able to download Episodes 2-5.
  • The episodes do now start to download. Up on 98% it lost connection. Can I resume or restore the download from that point? Because it took up some of my iPad space but still starts all over.

Unfortunately I do not believe it is possible to pause or resume a download. You should be able to restart the download, and it will then install, and it will only take up the space needed for the episode.

If you are still experiencing an issue with the download speeds, please close the game and all other applications running in the background. This should free up necessary system resources. (To close an app running in the background on iOS 6 and before: double tap the home button to make all running apps appear at the bottom of the screen, hold down on an app you wish to close and red buttons will appear, tap the red buttons to close the apps. If on iOS 7, double tap the home button and swipe up on the open apps to close them) Also, please turn off your iOS device for at least three minutes before attempting to play the game again. This will allow the device’s cache to clear.

Then after restarting your device, please reset the WiFi by turning the WiFi Settings Off, and back On again. Then try starting the game application again, and see if you are able to download the episodes successfully.

  • The same thing has been happening to me, except I did get the multipack and am trying to download episode 5. I tried restarting the device, game application, and turning Wifi off and on again.
    Help?

My apologies for the delayed response. Can you please clarify what iOS device you are playing on? Also, have you tried using a different WiFi network to download from?

  • I bought seasons 2-5 through itunes for an ipod touch and can't get them to download. Is there any way other than through the app to buy these episodes? It would be great to get them through a physical connection to the computer, like I did with the original app.

Spent $20 and can't use it. It's really frustrating.

Please try following my steps that I've stated above, and then try downloading the episodes again.

If you have tried closing all applications running in the background, to free up some processing power, and you have tried turning your device off for at least 5-10 minutes, please also try connecting to a different WiFi network, and see if your connection is stronger with our servers using that network, and allows you to download the episode successfully.
