Bigby's Full Potential

Bigby is very strong when compared to any other fables. He can transform into wolf at his will. But the thing we don't know is his full potential. He can devour his prey normally but if he fights full fledged what will happen??? He can even create huge winds (A power he was granted by his father North Wind). Can he create winds in the game??? Also, he can hold his breath so long like so many weeks (Another power granted by his father). I've read all the vertigo comics (Fables). But I want all that in game.

  • judging by the Episode 5 tile, there will be a HUGE wolf moment, which I really can't wait to see. There will probably be some great moments that incorporate parts of the comic-Bigby and his abilities with TTG-Bigby and it would be cool if there were scenes on a large scale. The wind powers sound awesome and that could be great

He'd level a fair chunk of New York City to the ground and irrevocably expose the existence of, at the very least, enormous wolves with weather control to the mundies if he went all-out. No way that's going to happen. It's really hard to say how the climax of TWAU is going to look. It's not an action game, not by a long shot, and some crazy "final battle" at the end of an otherwise thoughtful and mature story would just be silly.

On the other hand, Bigby IS an enourmously powerful werewolf with a lot of frustrations to vent, and to resolve the story without at least the potential for SOME level of violence would be disappointing as well. Maybe we'll get a choice where one option leads to a violent, grizzly, cathartic physical confrontation and the other leads to a more "correct" and morally satisfying result. I doubt it'll be that simple, though.
  • They won't add his full potential in the game. Why? Cause that would mean a 5 mins game. He can smell snow from wherever the heck he is. He can smell the villian from the start. He would beat the fk out of any other fable current in the game. So telltales had to nerf him big time for them to make a game.
  • The only way I can see Bigby going full wolf is if the plot moves out of the city and into the countryside, or MAYBE Central Park at night.
  • Or a construction site.

  • Hasn't even reached his final form...
  • From what I've gathered, they've toned down Bigby's abilities hardcore from the comics. For example, his sense of smell is so great he can tell where Snow is at any given moment, and would instantly be able to find whoever placed Faith's head on the doorstep, among other things. Being able to instantly go "I know exactly who did it and where they are" isn't exactly exciting for a detective/noir-style game, so they had to nerf him somehow.
  • Or any other roomy but isolated place. There are loads of options, but I think a smart culprit who isn't confident about taking Bigby in a one-on-one fight would try to steer the final confrontation somewhere with a lot of mundies around, which could be nearly anywhere in New York, day or night.
