What happened to Snow?

Throughout episode 3 both Snow and also Beauty were talking about "bad stuff" that happened to Snow, but they never clarified what happened. So... what happened to her?

Is this something that gets explained later, and is it of any importance to the story?

    Possibly when Snow was raped by the 7 dwarfs but it could be other things that she does not talk about.

    Well, Snow has been through a lot. I mean, they might explain it some in the next episodes, but in order to get the full story, you should read 1001 Nights of Snowfall (Fables graphic novel, part of the comic series. It also tells Bigby's past and a bunch of other Fables too.). She was in fact enslaved after she fell asleep in their cottage in the woods. Dwarves were known to manipulate and use young women for their own enjoyment (Cleaning and, ehm, adult activities). Normally a girl would last a few months to a year. Snow lasted about 7 before her evil step-mother found out she was alive and gave her the apple. Prince Charming woke her up with a kiss, they married, and then more shit happens. I don't want to spoil anymore unless you want me to, so yeah.

    She was also approximately 14 when she ran away, meaning she really was just a girl when it all happened.
