Make sure you're in the puzzle room, not the one that shows you how to beat the puzzle.

    puzzle
    ?
  • edited November 2008
nope he just keeps talking about the people that he got to make the puzzle
  • edited November 2008
Dang, one of the two that I actually stumbled upon. I got one out of it, he talked about something stuck in the middle of it -a la "What's this?-. I put up a confirm thing anyways.

Ok, I remember this formula for finding stuff happening in EP3, and finding collectibles is hard so far in EP4. Funfortunately, I'm no Holyxion and am not content with compiling evertything the day of the release.

Brought to you by: Strongsadioware, wwitthoff1, just some guy, and Poohead900 (so far)

Space Circus Manual Pages -All may work in extended play, the only one I have not tested is the first-

    2:
Just click on the puzzle in the catacombs in extended play (not the initial key, the acutal puzzle) (CONFIRM).

    Click in the
center of the puzzle (e.g. the place where you put the trinket) Confirmed.

Awesome. And that's all of the collectibles.
Specifically, it's the city limit sign on the right.

Yeah, the extras were awesome this time around... cool thing is that most of them could be done in extended play as well (always a crowd pleaser) and the sheer amount of other goodies and easter eggs like
    The dream office
really made up for the something that the game itself lacked...

No idea what, but the game/story itself was kinda missing something... Maybe it was too easy, I dunno. But the length was awesome, and so were the extras.

I am starting to think that the episode should have been more than just "all Dangeresque 3" I think it could have used a setup, or exhibition act to balance some of it... Playing Dangeresque through most of the episode really got tiring by the end of it.
  • edited November 2008
It really didn't seem like "too much Dangeresque" to me until I considered playing back through it - remembering all of the different acts and setpieces.
Now I've got everything for Awesomeness, but there's one I'm not entirely sure where it was acquired and I'm not sure how much effort I want to expend locating it, even though it was toward the end and I've got a save before I acquired it.

i still cant get it did you guys do something first like how you have to take the phone off the hook in strongbads dream before you can get the shirt in his office
  • edited November 2008
I clicked right back into it during the main story after picking up the heart, so I can't think of any special preconditions.

I'm having the exact same problem as Just Some Guy. No matter where I click in the center of that 9-square puzzle (not the clue area), I always just get the same line about the programmers phoning it in at Strong Bad's expense or something. This is in extended play, and I'm using the Wii version if it matters.

But thanks to all of you for all the other tips.
  • edited November 2008
It might, Im on PC and others have gotten it...
Everytime I click on it after getting the page, the only response I get is "intriguing" and such, nothing about phoning it in.
  • edited November 2008
I think it might be a Wii thing too as I also am using the PC version and it works everytime.
  • edited November 2008
well then this list is not done we have to find out how to get that page in the wii version
  • edited November 2008
I am now on a second play-through of this game, and I finally got the game cover page. I got it right after defeating the "monster" during the story. It is my guess that it is impossible to get the page in extended play so Wii players have to get it during story mode.

Also, in my old file, I tried setting the game on full screen (remembering those horrible lock-ups in the Wii version of Homestar Ruiner in widescreen mode), but that didn't solve it.

So in conclusion, if you have the Wii version, you must get the cover page from the taco puzzle within the actual story, not extended play.
