Sultry Buttons help

Guys, some help here, please? I can't figure out how to get to Paris before Sultry Buttons... I keep getting the note that I just missed her.

    When I figured this one out, I actually said out loud "Oh, this CAN'T be it" and then it was. It seemed cheap to me.
