SBCG4AP Costume Carryover Question

Are the costumes supposed to carry over backwards? For instance, are the costume items from ep. 4 supposed to appear in ep. 1? Because the only instance in which that works for me is that I get the ep. 3 costumes in ep. 2.

    If only one episode's costume items carried over backwards and to only one other game, it's probably because of the savegame-check-at-start-of-game thing. Keep in mind that all carried-over costume items are carried over at the start of the game, when the chack is made.

    Which is kind of annoying if you get all the costume items in one game after you've started the next.

    I just checked and I don't get any of the "other season" clothes in Ep 1, even after starting a new game. (I didn't go through to extended play, but I suspect they just don't carry over to Ep 1.)
