I'm still uncertain about name drop #5. I can confirm that it happens somewhere during the
    space station sequence
, but I'm just not sure where.
I was pretty sure I got #4 just by walking in to the club, but others have suggested you might have to get the cards shuffled a few times or somesuch.

For what it's worth, the Space Circus high score is less than 19550.

    I'd add:
Special 100% bonus costume item: Dangeresque Too's Shades

I ran through to get 100% and didn't do anything special in the space station, still got all 6. I think you have to get the cards shuffled so that you will eventually get an ace. Before he shuffles though, I always have 4.

Duly noted on the costume item.

Odd, I started a new game and made sure I did everything on this list, yet it still says I need two more out/spit takes...

In the Office in extended play, try looking at the paintings on the wall two more times. When I played through (Wii version, by the way), the bloopers for the window and the trinket did nothing for my score, but checking the paintings three times did (you get three different dialogues).

Same thing with me, but I think it was more because I right-clicked through all the dialogue. Funny, it was only in the office (trinket, window, paintings) that I had to sit through all the dialogue for them to count. And it did take me 2 or 3 clicks on the paintings (realized I got it when I clicked on one of each) but I dont know if this is a glitch or not. I'll mod it

Edit: according to the hrwiki, it IS 15000 points to get green.
Man, I hope they didn't use this thread as a reference, I was just guessing considering 19000 will give it to you, but 10000 (my score, I hate this game) wont

Confirmed 15000 (or getting to mercury) will get you the awesomeness.

I've done all the outtake items listed and am still one short
including coach z's phone joke "the number you are trying to reach..."
  • edited November 2008
On the subject of glitches if you click on the office window in normal play during the "
    hostage
" scene cutzy's "ghost will start talking" and you wont be able to get the
coach z in the shark pond
    outtake.

Oh BTW I think I have an idea as to why you get a celebrity drop in the
    club
, it might be a reference to Leonard Steakcharmer from Sam and Max: The mole, the mob, and the meatball. Or it could be a reference to the Telltage texas hold-em game, or the baccarat being a reference to bond, or just poker in general. OK, that enough of that.
  • edited November 2008
Maybe it was that name Strong Bad said, Bob Bacharah or something (I don't really remember too clearly). The one he says right after PERDUCCIIIIII challenges him to Rock, Paper, Baccarat.
  • edited November 2008
The Club reference is Burt Bacharach the pianist and composer.

Coach Z in the shark pool and the greasy office trinket don't count as outtakes.

To get the final two spit takes, look at the paintings in the office 3 seperate times.

You sure? I got them to count, but couldn't get the paintings to count until I looked at them 3 times. I ran through with all the junk compiled in the forums so far, just to double check all of the items before I made the thread. I'll check it again.

Maybe the paintings outtake discrepancy is another case of Wii/PC differences? Just throwing a guess out there.

No kiddin. There's still a few discrepancies though, probably between Wii/PC users.

Having some serious probs with the Monocle. There's no clickable area on the ground around the Prison. I think it may be the timing; I'm there before the formula is made. Do I get it after Diomonocle is there, or in extended play, or something?

How do I nun chuck anybody? Do I use the gun twice?

Select the Nunchuck gun in your inventory, and use it on a character.

For what it's worth, I think the Club reference (while correct) is actually slightly different than described.
The game is "Rock, Paper, Baccarat", which Strong Bad mispronounces as "Rock, Paper, Bacharach." (Still a reference to Burt Bacharach.)

Also, I'm pretty sure I've finally confirmed what gets you the 5th name drop: give Dr. X the ruby.

I know that it's available in extended play, so if timing IS an issue, I wouldnt worry about it. Your looking for the tuft of grass on the left side, just near the corner of the stand.

You're right, I fired up that game I had saved to check, but I had already given him the ruby but not the disk, and have 5 before heading to the sun

    Do you remember the dialogue?

Oh, and I fixed the bacharach thing, Turned my subtitles back on.

Yeah. That's what's strange about it. I can't really figure out a celebrity name drop from it:
    "I got the ruby."
    "Burble?"
"Sultry Buttons? Nawh, she's fine. She just needed a shot of Vitamin Dangeresque."

That burble must be pom-pom for "Sultry buttons had it, she looks kinda like that (insert rockstar name here) from (insert popular band here). By the way, is she ok?"

Edit: Since this took forever, do you think you have to give the ruby first? like, you know, before the disk? I can't test, thats where my save is.

Someone else will need to check that out, I actually just saved over that one to test something else.

Specifically, I think the name drop for using the 'Evil' option on Bubs is TRI-LAMBDA State Penitentiary, a reference to the Lambda Lambda Lambda fraternity in the film Revenge of the Nerds. That's my best guess.

About the timing for the monocle- DiaMonocle has to be there for it to work, I tried.

Could you possibly mark if something is only available in standard play because I tend to like to focus on the main story during standard play and would prefer doing as much as possible in extended play. I suppose I could figure it out, but I would hate to miss something and have to play through an extra time.

one blooper/outtake question: HOW THE CRAP DO I MAKE THE RUN BY CUTSEY BUTTONS OUTTAKE WORK?! do I just keep running in front of her until something happens? please someone who's successfully done this tell me!!!!!
  • edited November 2008
I just run back and forth from the front of her house (where she can't see you) to her and back again. She'll say stuff like "are you still here?" every once in a while. When she slips up and calls you "Strong Ba--Dangeresque" that's your point.

Hrm. Quickly now! To the Verification Mobile!
[scurries off to verify the conditions for this point]

Edit: Verified. I checked before I went to the club, and after the cutscene when you enter, I had another point. And Strong Bad does mispronounce the game as "Rocks, Papers, and Burt Bacharach".
